Become a Member
It’s easy to become a College Hill Forum
member! Individual memberships are just $5.00 per calendar year, or
just $7 for the whole family. You can sign up at any Forum meeting
at the registration table. Membership enables you to vote on issues
before the Forum that impact College Hill and our residents. For
just a few dollars a year, you can make your voice heard. Forum
members make it happen! |

Volunteer Opportunities
College Hill Forum and other community organizations are always
looking for folks to join us in making our committees and our
special events even more successful. You are always welcome, and
your time and efforts are greatly appreciated! Find a group that
sounds exciting to you and join the fun!

Farm Market
Thursdays 3-7 p.m. May 10 through October
Corner of Llanfair and Hamilton
College Hill’s own open air farm market features same-day fresh
produce, homemade pastries, jams and jellies, fresh flowers,
fresh-ground coffee or fresh-roasted coffee beans by the pound from
all over the world; handcrafted arts -- and more! Volunteers needed
to coordinate sellers, to help staff booths and more.

College Hill Rhythm Race
4th Annual 5K Run/Walk
To benefit College Hill redevelopment
August 18, 2007
Volunteers needed for week of race to help
distribute neighborhood fliers; day of race to help set up at
Pleasant Hill School for the after-race Celebration Party; day of
race to be stationed along the race route, as timers, working at
registration desk, etc. etc. It’s fun and all training is provided
the week before the race. Plus you get a collectors Volunteer
T-Shirt!

Pumpkin Patch
October 6
College Hill’s all-community, family-oriented
salute to Fall! Be part of this festival of pumpkins, crafts, fine
art, honey, children’s games, flowers, food – and more food! There’s
an easy, fun job for everyone – and it’s an event you want to be a
part of!

Make a Difference Day
October 21
Join your friends and neighbors in a 3-hour
sweep of cleaning up litter and trash in College Hill. Meet at 9:00
a.m. at the corner of Hamilton and Llanfair for a free breakfast,
then go out with your team and make our community shine! Volunteer
T-shirts, refreshments and door prizes! |

Quality of Life Committee
The heart and soul of our community’s efforts
to improve the appearance, maintenance and beauty of our homes, our
streets and our neighborhood. Adopt a street or a block to monitor
adherence to city regulations, agree to keep your area litter-free,
work with the committee to advise neighbors who need help keeping up
their properties. Work with City departments to make sure owners are
aware of building and property issues – and more. It’s a tireless,
great group to belong to – and they have fun get-togethers, too! |

Community Pot Luck
March every year
Help bring our entire community together over a
communal home-cooked potluck meal at College Hill Presbyterian
Church Everyone brings a dish to share and we have a wonderful time
meeting new folks and kicking back with old friends. There’s
entertainment, lots of great conversation, updates on community
issues -- and an all-around good time. Volunteers needed to get the
word out, keep track of RSVPs, help set-up and decorate tables,
clean up and staffing the overloaded food tables! |

Citizens on Patrol
Working hand-in-hand with
the Cincinnati Police Department, Citizens on Patrol walk our
neighborhoods day and night identifying problem areas and assuring
that our streets are friendly and safe for all. Contact

Light up College Hill Luminary Project
December
College Hill does its part to light up the
holidays by selling luminaria kits at low, low prices. It’s all
part of the Holiday Bazaar at the Cincinnati Recreation Center on
Belmont Ave. Help up make up the kits during the couple weeks before
the sale or help sell the kits on the day of the Bazaar. Then, when
every street is lined with light during the holidays, you can say
you played a part! |

College Hill Cooks! Cookbook Project
College Hill’s own cookbook filled with
delicious recipes from our own community cooks – over 800 recipes!
All proceeds help College Hill community initiatives. Help out by
taking books from a central location to the local businesses that
sell them throughout the year. |

Historical Society
Help revitalize this important group in their
efforts to preserve College Hill’s rich heritage and our historical
past. Volunteers needed to review and evaluate historical documents,
monitor historical sites, refresh old cemetery and discuss ways to
keep our rich past alive in the minds of our residents. |
The Gardens of College Hill garden tour -- Saturday, June 23,
2007 Volunteers are welcomed to help make this second annual event
another huge success! A self-guided tour of eight of our community's
loveliest gardens will be open to the pubic with features to
interest all. A plant sale is included in the day's events.
Volunteers will help with ticket sales, registration, plant sale,
refreshments and other bloomin' tasks! Contact
