Message from Elizabeth Sherwood, President
of the College Hill Forum: |
I know you care about College Hill and your
community. As a stakeholder in our neighborhood, you’ve invested
countless dollars, untold hours of work, and a great deal of emotion
and energy in College Hill.
Do you ever wish you could change things in
College Hill – to make it an even better place to live, work or
play? Do you want to know more about what is happening in your
neighborhood? Would you like to have a voice in how our
neighborhood develops? We’ve got your answer.
The Forum is your community council –
recognized by the City of Cincinnati as the official voice of
College Hill. Your voice is our voice. To accurately represent
the viewpoints and aspirations of our community when making
decisions about College Hill, we need to know what you want for your
neighborhood and your opinions about the important issues our
community faces.
I encourage you to join us each month at the
Forum meetings. Whether you are most interested in crime
prevention, education, business development, property improvements,
beautification, community events or other issues, we address them
all at the College Hill Forum.
You’ll see your friends and neighbors – and
meet new friends - at the meetings. The Forum is one of the most
active and highly-attended community councils in the city. Our
meetings are upbeat and informative. I guarantee you’ll learn
something new at every meeting and leave with a renewed sense of
pride in College Hill. Membership is only $5.00 per year – and if
you don’t get your money’s worth after a year, I will personally
reimburse your dues!
Make your voice heard. It counts. Make your
wishes known. It matters. Participate in your community council.
College Hill’s future depends on you!
I look forward to seeing you at the next
meeting.
Sincerely,
Elizabeth Sherwood
